Honestly the support received from everyone on my blog, became more than expected. You all are my motivation, my reason for a better cause, my support system, my 411, everything necessary to push forth when obstacles appear. All that I desire is expected to come to light as I have all of your blessings and well wishes. I know I haven’t posted in ages, however, when I come back, it’s with a packed punched, I promise. I just needed to take some time out my day to tell everyone my love and my appreciation.
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” – John F. Kennedy
This was a piece I created a few weeks ago. It speaks of me in so many ways.
What I love about creating pieces such as this (and of course with inspiration from sources) is that it leaves my viewers
With something to think about, or take away. So I leave this with you all to interpret.
Unity is strength, division is weakness. ~ Swahili proverb
There’s so much to tell you all to the point where I cannot begin just by typing. I have to show you and luckily I have pictures. One thing I have to share with you all is the amazing opportunity that I’ve been blessed with yet a second time. I am so grateful, and the best part about it is that I have supporters <3.
The first time I was sent an invitation to attend The National Student Leadership conference for medicine, I couldn’t get as far as I am now. I eventually had to turn down the opportunity. However, now I am able to reserve a space and possibly attend with the help of funds. It would be sweet and beautiful if I could have all of my Fellow bloggers support. Whatever your contributions are, I honestly appreciate it. Everyone who reads my blog understands how much I want this. I’ll try to reach out to as much people as possible as my way of saying thank you and bless your hearts.
Please everyone , help me make this work!
Signed with love,
Has thus far been a crazy busy year, and I’m telling you, twiddling thumbs is the last thing anyone wants to waste time to do. Every split second counts – a lot. It’s not easy accepting it when as a kid, we all just want to kick back and have fun. I realized that not many kids cope with this the right way. Some don’t even realize that we can cope.
My friend heard about all I have been doing and stopped me in the hall to confirm. I didn’t realize the effect of my answer until moments later… because honestly, it’s the little things in life that we fail to acknowledge as our personal form of “chicken soup” for the soul.
“…I don’t even understand Likita, it’s all so much, how do you get by? How do you live?”
One of the many truths out there. Being a believer and future doctor in medicine, I’ve witnessed it in action. Hopefully the world realizes it.
“Believing is half the cure.”
